Biography

Anette is a Singer/Songwriter/Actress with a passion for teaching, she first started teaching voice as a church choir assistant in her native Denmark at age 17 and has since, along with her appearance in shows such as "Grease", "Nunsence" and "Bellevue Sketches", expanded her teaching to private vocal instruction in voice and speech, accent reduction and contemporary styles of singing.

Anette is a graduate of The Danish Academy of Musical Theater and The William Esper Studio, New York. She has training in rhetoric, Neutral and Standard American speech and has received vocal training from acclaimed Ian Adam in London, Cathrine Sadoline in Denmark, Nancy Mayans, Patricia Fletcher, Billy Porter and David Sabella Mills in New York. She is currently a protege of Patrick Michael Wickham and teaches at Performers Career Center www.vocalstudios.com.

Furthermore, Anette has extensive voice over experience and have among others done voice overs with Disney, Air Emirates and E-learning. She travels to Denmark to teach workshops in singing and acting and does concerts and gigs there on a regular basis. Anette is a founding board member and artistic director of Scandinavian American Theater Company www.satcnyc.org with whom she has performed in shows like "Miss Julie", "The Fundamentalist", "Bastards of Strindberg", several staged readings and her one-woman, solo-musical "Dramatically Different". Her first record with her own original music "A North Node" is set to release Decemeber 2013
